Entry #3: My Refreshing Experience of a Cool Treat

I love small thing in life that can be so refreshing even if it is just for a little bit. It still gives you that sense of enjoyment and overall, you feel refreshed. Sometimes in life we also need that just like sometimes in life we need a refreshed mouth after a meal or a piece of gum when you need to focus on something you are doing.

My experience of eating this refreshing treat was nice to really look into and actually answer some of these questions and explain. When I opened the packaging, the lid popped while they rattled in the container. I could already smell that refreshing smell which feels like it is clearing my sinuses. It has a smooth feeling while in my hand and I feel a promising freshness that will come from this cool treat. This cool treat is a nice round but not flat circle with specks of green and blue. When I bit into it, it was a crisp crunchy outer shell. It started to burst into a fresh flavor of a refreshing and cool sensation. There is a chewy texture that gives way and that will ultimately dissolve in your mouth. It was a wintergreen flavor that really did live up to its name and it tastes like winter in my mouth. The memories that it sparked for me are Sundays in church. This is because growing up I have always gone to church on Sundays and my parents would always pass this refreshing cool treat down to me and my siblings all the time.

In conclusion, these little refreshing treats are needed I feel. It can really help us to feel that refreshing feeling that we long for and it can also spark memories for some of us which is amazing.

  1. This was a good way to sell someone on this with keeping that general sense of "I think I know what they're talking about but I'm not 100% sure since they won't say it".

  2. You used descriptive details throughout your post to adhere to the reader's senses. For example, you stated that they "rattled in the container" and how you bit into the "crisp crunchy outer shell." It's cool to see how you explained your experience enjoying one of these treats and how they remind you of Sundays at church during your childhood.
