Entry #1 Working Out
I have quite a bit of hobbies, but the one that I love most to do in my free time is going to the gym to work out. I love working out for various reasons. The main reasons I like to work out is because it is a stress relief, its enjoyable, and it always directs my mood in a better way. In this entry I will explain some of the science and benefits behind working out to explain the reason why working out can have so many benefits and impacts for certain people.
First, I will explain why working out can feel as a stress relief and a mood enhancer for people including me. In this article named, Stress Management. It states that," Exercise in almost any form can act as a stress reliever." This is explaining that it is proven that pretty much all types of working out or activity can act as a stress reliever. The article also explains why this is. It states," Being active can boost your endorphins and distract you from daily worries." Endorphins are explained to be hormones and neurotransmitters that are produced by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus in the brain. Endorphins are released in response to pain, stress, and exercise. So, with this information, endorphins are natural pain relievers and mood enhancers which explains the benefit that I get, and people get from working out. I also wanted to state that if you naturally feel that working out is benefiting things like this with you, it will make you want to work out consistently which is keeping you in shape which is a very healthy thing to consider in life.

Second, I will explain why I feel that working out is enjoyable. this is an enjoyable hobby for me because I have realized that working out doesn't mean you have to lift like a body builder. You can start really light and build your strength and recognize your strength. You can work out with friends. You can also mix up workouts. You don't have to do the same workouts every day. There is such thing as healthy competition which explains that you don't have to compare yourself to other and create a thought saying this is what my workouts should look like. You can learn to enjoy your workouts.
In Conclusion, Working out has scientific reasons as to why it can be a stress reliever, a mood enhancer, and why it can be enjoyable. These are the reasons why working out is one of my hobbies.
